The Twilight Saga: New Moon made history during its debut weekend. It became the third highest opening weekend of a movie of all-time, right behind The Dark Knight and Spiderman 3, ranking in $141.7 million. According to MTV News, “the audience for the “Twilight” films isn’t just made of young women pining for shirtless screen time from Pattinson and Lautner, either — the movie’s audience, while mostly female, was divided evenly between viewers under and over the age of 21. Apparently, there is no age restriction when it comes to falling in love with vampire and werewolf heartthrobs.”

Although a large part of the dollars were from teens, there are moms who have become quite obsessive for many reasons, who are now known as “Twilight Moms”. With the different Twilight moms that were interviewed, there reasons were pretty much: they loved the actual movie (the story plot), the romance, and most importantly, the cute teenage boys (even though if Edward wasn’t a 107 year old vampire, he would be the same age as their sons, but OK).

For Twilight Moms, there is an official twitter page, as well as an official website.
