Yankees Take Broadway

The New York Yankees celebrated their 27th World Series Championship with a parade along the Canyon of Heroes. The win was the first for second year manager Joe Girardi. The last time the Yankees played in the world series was 2003.
Hideki Matsui was the most valuable player, but all the talk was about Alex Rodriguez. After starting a season with hip surgery, and an admission to using steroids, A-Rod has finally won his first world series and redeem himself to fans and critics.
