Going green seems to be the new trend.
From supermarkets to clothing stores, businesses are moving towards organic materials and renewable products. As I walked through the holiday markets at Union Square, Columbus Circle, and Grand Central Station, I also saw more eco-friendly vendors than I expected. Some are here for the first time, while others are veterans at the market. Holiday vendors tell their stories about how their products are environmentally friendly, and the inspiration behind them.
Elden Scott, President of Urban Space Markets, also explains how these vendors get into the markets, the categories of eco-friendly, and the growing popularity of these smaller markets.
