Vincent's Barbershop

Vincent’s Barbershop on Cortelyou Road in the Ditmas Park section of Brooklyn hasn’t changed much in the past 35 years.  Vincenzo Luca, a native of Sicily, bought the shop in 1975.  He tends to the follicles of the neighborhood with his son Vincent.  Vincent represents the 4th generation of barbers in the Luca family, and probably the last.

    I love these photographs, and they look great in black and white. Are we going to see a live poultry shop soon..?
